Owner/Therapist: Hillary Gordon is the owner of Horizon Therapy Services, PLLC. She is originally from a small town in Alabama called Sweet Water. She lived there until moving to Tuscaloosa, AL, in 2003 to pursue her degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Hillary obtained her undergraduate and graduate degrees at the University of Alabama. After graduating in 2008, she began her career working as an outpatient and inpatient therapist in a rehab setting for a local hospital in Meridian, MS. In 2013, her husband’s career (United States Air Force) took them to Germany! While in Germany, Hillary worked alongside some outstanding American and German Speech-Language Pathologists at a private clinic in Landstuhl. In 2015, the military moved them back to the United States. This move took Hillary and her family to Navarre, FL. In the years she was in FL, she worked at a private practice and in the school setting. When they were in FL, Hillary and her husband started toying with the idea of opening her practice. With a full-time job and two young children, that idea seemed unattainable. In 2020, the military relocated Hillary and her family to San Antonio, TX. While trying to figure out her next career move, Hillary decided she was ready to pursue her dream of opening/owning her own business! Hence, it led to the birth and creation of Horizon Therapy Services, PLLC! Hillary has worked in a variety of settings throughout the years. While she has loved all the settings she has worked in, working with a predominately pediatric population has been her focus. She is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (AHSA). She is a member of the Texas Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Over the years, she has had the experience of working with children who have been diagnosed with fluency disorders, articulation disorders, language disorders, Autism, Childhood Apraxia of Speech, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, and children with feeding disorders.
Therapist: Tiffany Mansell is married and has two boys who love playing baseball. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family and loves to shop! Tiffany graduated from Maryville University with her Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May of 2023. She has years of experience working with children in the school setting. She is excited to begin her new journey at Horizon.
Therapist: Gabriella Granados was born and raised in San Antonio. She received her undergraduate degree from Our Lady of the Lake University and her graduate degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences. Gabby is passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves. She believes in open communication and collaboration to help each child succeed in their speech, language, and feeding goals. When she is not working with patient’s at Horizon, she enjoys spending time with her husband and her dog, Hazelnut, reading, trying new restaurants and traveling!
Receptionist: Kristen Borrego has a Medical Assistant degree from Brightwood College. She has always enjoyed working with children and always says that she is a big kid at heart. Kristen is a very family-oriented person. Spending time with family and friends is her favorite, besides playing basketball and going to Spurs games.
